Love Hearts

Need a hint?

Four out of the five love hearts contain common phrases found on love hearts but they have been changed somehow.

There is help to decipher the phrases in the text above. Have they have been encoded is key to working out the fifth.

The green love heart says "Be Happy", the orange one "I Love You" all the letters have been shifted. Work out by how many letters and apply it to the grey one in the middle.

The letters have all been shifted by 7 down the alpahbet so you need to undo this. Move M back up 7 plaves to F, V back to O etc... The final answer is 48.





Movies

Complete the crossword using the clues.

Pick out the letters highlighted.

Rearrange the letters to spell a number.

The number is 31.





Pac Man

Need a hint?

The Pac Man along the bottom of the game hold they key.

They are giving you directions to follow.

Start with the Pac Man in the middle of the game and work your way around the board following the directions along the bottom.

Foloowing the directions given, and collecting the letters you pass along the way, spells FORTY SIX.





Polaroids

Need a hint?

Place the images into the correct poloroid.

The arrows hold the key.

Pick the letters out the arrows point to and spell a number. The two arrow colours split the two word answer up to help.

The letters spell TWENTY FOUR.





Rotary Phone

Need a hint?

The answer is obtained by decoding the string of numbers in the middle of the phone.

The numbers in a circle around the phone hold the key.

2 = A, 22 = B or 222 = C etc....

Decoding the message in the middle gives, 8 = T, 9 = W, 33 = E, etc spells out TWENTY.





Tetris

There are some gaps what could you use to fill them?

Use the spare tetris pieces to fill in the gaps.

Once you have used the spare tetris pieces to fill in the gaps, read the text.

The text reads "The number you seek is twenty seven divided by three add six subtract one" which is fourteen.





Toys

Match the images of the toys to there names.

Joining them will reveal a question.

Work out the answer to the question revealed by drawing staright lines between they toys and their names.

The question revealed is 4 x 7 which is TWENTY EIGHT.





Trivial Pursuit

Answer the six trivial pursuit questions, one on each topic.

The Radical Times will help with any you are unsure of.

When you have all the answers, notice some letters appear in bold.

Picking out the correct answers (Kent, Colin Baker, Margaret Thaatcher, Terry Pratchett, MRI and Edinburgh), collecting the letters in bold (n, e, e, e, h, t, i and g) and rearranging them spells the answer eighteen.





Walkmen

The numbers at the end of each song title holds the key.

They tell you which letters to pick out for each song.

The number 2.3 would tell you to go to the second word and take the third letter.

Following the word, letter key of the numbers (e.g. Prince Kiss 1.6 means go to the first word and take the 6th letter - e) to pick out 8 letters and rearranging them spells NINETEEN. The song list gives you the release dates which could also have been used to order the tapes (and letter) instead of rearranging.
